All Elderhorst Bells, Inc. bell shells are made of high quality hand formed fiberglass with a finished thickness of 1/8" to 5/16" Bell shells are finished with a bronze/gold automotive type finish (other colors available upon request- contact Elderhorst Bells, Inc.) Elderhorst Bells, Inc. works with the major European bell foundries to provide the finest new

existing or "used" bells.
Bells are rung in several ways: The traditional ringing method is to swing the bell. This can be
done by rope ringing, or, the bell can be swung electrically. Elderhorst Bells, Inc. supplies
complete swinging bell "packages" with bells from 18" diameter to as large as will fit in your tower.
The second bell ringing method is to stationary mount the bell. In this case, the bell is struck by
either a "gravity"hammer manually, or by means of an electro-magnetic clapper/hammer. The

Automatic Bell Ringing Systems are available for the control of electrically swung, or stationary bells (with electro-magnetic clapper/hammer), for a single bell or up to 61 bells. Digital Bell Carillons and Systems are also available.
